The Kay-Gees released their third studio album “Kilowatt” in 1976 under De-Lite Records. "Kilowatt" would be their last and most popular album with the Kool & The Gang protégés in the studio. The album is adds a mixture of disco and funk, while heavy on the horns which would best represent the Kay-Gee's sound. The track "Cheek to cheek" was a popular club track when it debuted, the bass line alone is worth the price of admission.
