Your Piece of the Rock is the debut album by the Los Angeles, California-based R&B group Dynasty which was released in 1979 under the Solar Records Label. The album title refers to one of many dance crazes during the disco era in which the title track is dedicated to. The title track is what kicks off Dynasty's debut album for Solar, as well as “I Don't Want to Be a Freak (But I Cant Help Myself)” which keeps listeners coming back to the album with the bottom heavy synth groove and a dynamite hook that makes it hard to resist.
