Denzel Curry vs. Flatbush Zombies: Inside The Wrestling-Themed Concert | CenterStage

On November 16, Denzel Curry played his only hometown show of 2018 in Miami with Brooklyn trio Flatbush Zombies. Dubbed Zeltron vs Zombies, the event placed each act on different sides of a wrestling ring to give fans a unique experience, and Genius was there to catch all the action. Before Denzel ran through songs like “PERCS | PERCZ,” “ULTIMATE,” and “CLOUT COBAIN | CLOUT CO13A1N,” he spoke to Genius about stepping into his alter ego, finding inspiration for the show’s concept, and recruiting Flatbush Zombies to perform at the concert.

Denzel Curry partnered with Red Bull Music to create a show with a unique wrestling-inspired battle concept that was the perfect arena for his and Flatbush Zombie's live energy, while also tapping into the local flavor of Denzel's hometown Miami. The show is part of Red Bull Music Presents, a collection of shows that captures the diverse underground music scenes and creative communities in cities including 30+ shows in the U.S. this year.
