Portland based artist Aminé has had whirlwind year after the success of his single “Caroline.” The Quentin Tarantino and OutKast-inspired track peaked at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 earlier this year. Even with all of his newfound success, people still don’t know how to pronounce his name. “In Ethiopian… my dad told me that it means ‘I believe’ but I feel like he’s lying,” he tells Genius.
