It’s been a big year for Donald Glover a.k.a. Childish Gambino. He just released his long-awaited third album “Awaken, My Love!”, which is heavily inspired by ‘70s funk music, and his FX show Atlanta was a big hit when it premiered back in September.

He’s come a long way from his days at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Over the last decade, he wrote for NBC’s comedy series 30 Rock, starred on the sitcom Community, and has released three albums, including 2013’s Grammy-nominated Because the Internet. On the latest episode of Rewind, Genius takes a look at the biggest moments in his career.
