The Recording Academy gets Up Close & Personal with Texas-born, L.A.-based singer/songwriter—and video-producer—Conan Gray for our latest episode in the interview series. The charismatic 20-year-old shares what he's most looking forward to for his upcoming Comfort Crowd Tour, and how he never expected to be where he is today when he began uploading his first songs on YouTube at age 12. He also talks about songs taking on new meanings with music videos, and explains how hearing Lorde's and Adele's music for the first time inspired his own songwriting.
