19-year-old singer/songwriter John-Robert moved from his tiny hometown in Virginia to Los Angeles to pursue his dreams of making music. Luckily, GRAMMY-nominated producer Ricky Reed discovered him, and the rest is history. John-Robert will be dropping his debut EP later this year.

In the latest episode of the Recording Academy's Press Play video series, John-Robert tells a tale of distant love with "Adeline," a song he released in 2019 and wrote when he was just 17.
