The Eurovision Song Contest is meant to bring Europe together in a peaceful way through music -- the universal language. Bulgarian-Austrian songwriter Borislav Milanov explains how foreign songwriters, working in international teams and across borders, help reflect and achieve that goal.

We also discuss the international nature of the show, and how lighting technicians, stage directors, choreographers, vocals coaches and others frequently work with people from other nationalities to help create magic for all of Europe to enjoy.

We also ask him if Eurovision has become too much of a business for songwriters who have multiple songs in each edition of Eurovision. Boris had songs in Malta, Germany and Bulgaria for Eurovision 2020. He also reveals that he may work with Bernarda Brunovic, one of the co-authors of "All of My Love", on Eurovision songs for her to sing in the future.

This interview was filmed in late March, after Eurovision 2020 was cancelled.
