Rob de Nijs (born 26 December 1942) is a Dutch singer and actor, active since the early 1960s untill now.

Rob de Nijs' latest record will be released this Friday, November 6, 2020. With songs by his regular song poet and ex-wife Belinda Meuldijk, but also by Bløf singer Paskal Jakobsen, Boudewijn de Groot and Daniël Lohues. The cd will be released together with a book with interviews with colleagues about De Nijs . The album and book share their title:’ t Is mooi geweest'; in English: "It's Been Beautiful."

De Nijs' monumental, almost 60-year career is approaching its final chord. In December 2020 De Nijs will turn 78. He is suffering from Parkinson's disease and will possibly do a final concert in Amsterdam in 2021.

This single 'Alles Wat Ademt' was a big hit for De Nijs. It reached #2 in the Dutch Top 40 on 11 January 1986. This was his last performance on Toppop. It was first broadcast on 22 November 1985
