Vinyl records have stood the test of time. They were one of the first types of media for selling recorded music and they outlasted many that came and went over the years (ie, 8-track, cassette, compact disc). In hip hop music, digging through vinyl is regarded as an artform and a culture within itself with thousands of DJs and producers looking for rare and unknown records to incorporate in their songs or mixes.
Diggin' (Crate Digger’s Anthem) is the theme song for all of these folks who spend countless hours in record stores, thrift shops, garage sales and dusty basements going through old records to see what gems they might unearth!
