An essential video of my collection and one of my favorites, a fantastic performance! Laura Branigan performing her hit "Self Control" in the special TV show "Rock Rolls On" hosted by Dick Clark and co-hosted by her with the rock legend Chuck Berry. Show aired on July 20, 1984 from the Studio K in Knott's Berry Farm, Buena Park, California.
"Self Control" is a song originally recorded by Italian singer Raff in 1984. Immediately Laura Branigan led the song to the summit of perfection when she recorded her version in the same year. Her performance turned out to be totally higher both vocally as musically and became her biggest hit song. For me it's not only one the most successful songs of the 80's but also one of the best in the music history...
