'Sharp Dressed Man' is a song from ZZ Top's album 'Eliminator.
It is no. 887 in the Dutch Top 2000 of 2021.
Dusty Hill, bassist and lead vocalist of American rock band ZZ Top, passed away on Wednesday July 28, 2021 at the age of 72, singer Billy Gibbons and drummer Frank Beard said in a statement on social media.
Hill died in his sleep at his Houston home, but it’s unknown whether his death has anything to do with the hip problems he was struggling with. Because of those issues, Hill had to cancel the ZZ Top tour last week.
On Facebook, the band members left behind write: "We - along with legions of ZZ Top fans worldwide - will miss your loyal presence, your good character and your unbridled commitment to give ZZ Top that monumental foundation. We will be connected forever with that Blues Shuffle in C."

Hill, Gibbons and Beard formed the band in 1969. The bassist was known not only for his musical talent, but also for his distinctive appearance. Like singer Gibbons, for example, he had a long beard and wore sunglasses and hats on stage.
With ZZ Top, Hill made fifteen studio albums. The group was still performing.
The band is best known for the hits Gimme All Your Lovin', and ‘Sharp Dressed Man’.

The song was produced by band manager Bill Ham, and recorded and mixed by Terry Manning. The song reached no. 9 in the Billboard Hot 100 and reached no. 9 in the Dutch Top 40 on 16 March 1985.
