The lead single taken from forthcoming self-released album ‘Music Is My Life’, ‘I Am Me’ is the show-stopping new single from UK soul sensation, Natasha Watts.
Captured in 2022 during album recording sessions with Mike Patto, Tony Econimedes, Dave Doyle and Ziggy Funk, ‘I Am Me’ is a smooth and sun-drenched Neo-Soul cut, co-written by Doyle.
“It’s a very personal song,” says Natasha “about growth, about understanding, and about being able to look in the mirror and accept yourself, warts and all, and to love just exactly who you see. To look back at your journey, and to look forward to the future.”

Following the first album teaser, ‘Brighter Days’, which was offered as a free download exclusively on Natasha’s website, gaining playlist positions on JazzFM, Mi Soul and a series of specialist soul stations, ‘I Am Me’ has already received airplay from Tony Blackburn on BBC Radio 2, and the 7” release of the song has sold out on pre-orders alone.
It’s fair to say that the full global release of ‘I Am Me’ on June 23rd is hotly anticipated, and a stunning remix by Atjazz will be coming a month later on his own imprint, Atjazz Record Company.
