He won Idol in 2010 and has been on the road ever since as a live musician. And now Jay Smith is making his debut in Melfest with "Back To My Roots".

We had a quick chat with Jay after Friday's dress rehearsal about what he felt to perform in front of the packed arena and what it means for him to bring gritty country music to Melfest.
