The young American singer and songwriter Laura Branigan, performs in an exclusive show for the German TV program "Ein Unbekanntes Talent" (in English "An Unknown Talent") accompanied by the outstanding SFB Big Band led by pianist and arranger Paul Kuhn. This presentation show was a very important opportunity and experience for Laura, who was determined to launch her career as a solo singer and took place under the direction of her first manager Sid Bernstein. Shortly after this, Laura got a private audition with Ahmet Ertegun who signed her to Atlantic Records from which came the subsequent debut album with the worldwide hit "Gloria" and the rest is history.
