Laura Branigan - Shattered Glass - Super Model of the World (1987)

Laura Branigan dazzled the audience performing "Shattered Glass" during the TV special "Supermodels of the World 1987", an international model search competition established by Eileen Ford in 1980 during which the winner was awarded a contract with the Ford Modeling Agency. The show was hosted by Dick Clark and Jerry Hall.
Dick Clark introduced Laura saying "You know, it's very fitting that our next guest is preforming in a world wide pageant, because she's just as popular on the international scene as she is here in the United States. As a matter of fact, she's just returned from Australia, where she'd been making a film for... oh, about 6 months or so. And, this lady is a perfectionist. She took 2 full years to release her latest album. It's finally come out, and it's well worth the wait. She is back on the charts, stronger than ever. Ladies and gentlemen, with her new single "Shattered Glass" from the album "Touch". This is Miss Laura Branigan."

The show took place at Sea World in Orlando, Florida, U.S. on July 22, 1987, with women competing from 26 countries. The winner that year was Celia Forner from Spain. Enjoy and share!!
