On paper it may seem like I’m not anymore because I actively support the LGBTQ+ community, I wear sleeveless shirts sometimes and now “SHE DRINKS COFFEE!” For waaaay too long I defined my connection to God by a huge lists of rules and that lead to so much shame. I don’t let shame govern me anymore and surprisingly, I’ve felt God’s love more than ever. The fact is, I love my Mormon faith upbringing and the connection with God it gives me. I also LOVE all the beautiful things I’ve learned from other religions. I think God gives truth everywhere. So y’all will just have to keep speculating and gossiping about whether or not I’m still Mormon cus my coffee and I aren’t gonna tell you.
