Grieg: Lyric Pieces (Complete)

Edvard Grieg’s Lyric Pieces are short piano pieces—simple, direct, and full of color. Written across ten books, they feel like diary pages: scenes from nature, folk dances, quiet prayers, and memories. This video gathers the complete cycle, played by Italian pianist Angelo Martino, whose clear touch and natural flow let each piece speak. From Op. 12 to Op. 71, each piece lasts only a few minutes—perfect for reading, study, or a quiet evening. Martino keeps the sound warm and close, letting the music breathe and sing.
