Poland’s Alicja Szemplińska has been in the public eye since she was a child. Now, as she competes at Eurovision 2026, she’s getting ready for her biggest stage yet. Speaking in our London Eurovision Party livestream interview, the “Pray” singer discussed the incredible graphics we've seen on stage at the pre-parties and how she's been preparing for the song contest. She also discusses the struggle and the joy of finding a London label that let her pursue her musical passions: R&B, soul and gospel. She says she has written 20 songs for her upcoming album, which will be available sometime after Eurovision. Alicja and William also discuss their alleged on-screen arguments — and how people online sometimes views situations in more extreme ways that those living them.
