Favored Nations first grabbed our attention thanks to 245 hours spent playing GTA5. Their song, "The Setup" —which featured on the soundtrack—is a slyly sexy, bass-funked cut that makes you feel like getting freaky on a light-up dancefloor. Five months later and it's pushing 100k plays on soundcloud.

Made up of Morgan Phalen (Diamond Nights), James Curd and Surahn Sidhu (both of whom have released on DFA), and the LA-Australian trio latest tune is a flawless ode to monogamy, because, you know, slutting it about can be really tiring. Sometimes you just want to come home and spoon on the couch. Ain't nothing wrong with that. Singer Morgan know this. He also knows the importance of a decent double entendre so the video, premiering above, features Morgan canoodling with a cute kitty, who seems somewhat nonplussed. Musically it's as smooth as the flesh on lady's inner thigh—100% Steely Dan vibes on a kicky nu-disco tip. We love.
