Gary Clarke Jr. stands for musical freedom. The "future of Texas blues" started playing guitar when he was 12 years old and through the years, he's worked with a number of music legends. But his unconventional style with rock & roll and blues has made his music stand out above the rest. "Letting everything you've learned, and adapted to, let it go," he says. Being free, musically, has put him in situations he'd never thought he'd be in with other artists. He's on tour with Kings of Leon next year, which kicks off in Atlanta on Feb. 5.
