In a scene where originality is more than just a virtue, one of EDM's latest players started a successful game. South-Africa's Protoculture delivers time and again, and doesn't disappoint with his new 'Cobalt' and 'Ode To The Ocean' either.
This guy's got pluck, fusing styles and continuously testing new and unheard combo's. Praised by the DJ elite, as well as the global dance crowd, Nate Raubenheimer sees his Protoculture name rise in fame. From the waves of 'Sun Gone Down' and 'Liquid Logic' to 'Topaz', each one had its own, massive impact. 'Ode To The Ocean' and 'Cobalt' alike.
While 'Ode To The Ocean' holds a strong feel of mystery and rises with a warm, melodic theme, strong prog-trance beats and atmospheric changes, 'Cobalt' brings out the darker shades of prog-trance. A deep, solid tune for both the warm-up and peak-time hours.
