Dinamo Minsk showed great heart as it welcomed SKA to Belarus, but a battling effort from Craig Woodcroft’s team was undone by a Nikita Gusev power play goal on 59:16. The visitor took the verdict on the night, and now has a commanding 3-0 lead in the series.

Avangard Omsk 2 - Ak Bars Kazan 0 (0-0, 0-0, 2-0)
Avangard left it late, but the defending champion sealed a shut-out win over Ak Bars to take a 3-0 stranglehold in the series. Simon Hrubec was the Hawks’ hero, stopping 43 shots in a fantastic performance.
