In this video, we will review the Xiaomi Smart Kettle 2 Pro smart kettle from the Mi Home ecosystem.
We will look at the package contents, design, control from the base, operation of the rotary knob, boiling and heating modes, as well as the function of maintaining water temperature for up to 24 hours.
We will also separately cover connecting the kettle to Mi Home, configuring custom modes, launching scenarios, and running automations. Then we will test integration with Home Assistant through Xiaomi Miot: what entities are created, how the current temperature is displayed, how to start heating from the interface and via YAML.
The review will also include measurements of actual power consumption in boiling and temperature maintenance modes.
