In Episode 3 of our Route 66 road trip, we leave Seligman, Arizona and drive one of the most iconic stretches of the Mother Road. Route 66 takes us into the mountains toward Oatman, Arizona, where the historic mining town and wild burros make it one of the most unique stops on the entire route.

After Oatman, we take a detour off Route 66 to Chuckwalla Raceway to put both cars on track and race them head-to-head to see which one is actually faster. From there, we continue west with stops at famous Route 66 landmarks like Bottle Tree Ranch before crossing into California and following the final sections of Route 66 through the Mojave Desert and Southern California.

As the road shifts from empty desert highways to city streets, the journey comes to an end at the most famous finish line of them all: the Santa Monica Pier.
