"Demon King" RX-7 Rotary Legend Ridealong in Japan | FEED Fujita Engineering

If you've spent any time around rotary cars, there's a good chance you've heard the name "FEED", or Fujita Engineering Evolutional Development. FEED is best known for their infamous demo car "Maou", the 'Demon King', which dominated many episodes of Hot Version back in the early 2000s. Many of us at TRC grew up idolizing this very car as they dominated the touge scene.

They've dedicated over 40 years to building some of Japan's most impressive RX-7s, refining Mazda's legendary rotary platform along the way. During our recent trip to Osaka, we stopped by the shop where Fujita-San showed us around, shared his story with us, and let us experience the "Demon King" for ourselves.
