Even though the famous “with great power comes great responsibility” line is always associated with Spider-Man, it could also equally apply to My Hero Academia’s protagonist Izuku Midoriya, aka Deku. Both of them started as powerless nerds that were suddenly granted these amazing abilities. Peter Parker got bitten by a radioactive spider and Deku ate some of All Might’s hair! Even though Deku took to the hero life quickly and worked immediately to become the greatest hero in the world, it took Peter to experience the loss of his Uncle Ben to really embrace the responsibility of such great gifts.
So given the two are somewhat similar now, the big question is who would win a fight? That’s a tough question. Spider-Man vs. Deku. Who ya got? Both of them are determined, hardworking fighters that never want to give up no matter what. Both have some amazing strengths, like Peter’s Spider-Sense that allows him to detect incoming danger or attacks, or Deku’s amazing level of power, but they also have a few weaknesses, like Deku’s body limitations or Spider-Man’s finite levels of web fluid. But if you put all those together, which hero would come out on top if the two ever came to blows?
Today’s video is all about a fight between Deku and Spider-Man, and will break down exactly what their biggest strengths and weaknesses are, to come up with a conclusion about who would win in a big showdown.
