Master Roshi might not be everyone’s favorite character in Dragon Ball, but he’s still a pretty interesting fella. The old Turtle Hermit served as Goku’s first teacher, giving him and Krillin the training that set them on the path to becoming the warriors they are today. Suffice to say, beyond his perverted exterior is a hard-trained and wise martial arts master that deserves an in-depth chronicling of his life, which is exactly what we do in this video.

Everything from the old hermit’s early days to his presence in Dragon Ball Super and the Tournament of Power, Master Roshi has had a pretty interesting life and, although it might not seem like he’s changed much over the years, if you take a look at his younger days, then you’ll find he’s had quite the evolution.
