Peter Parker and Tony Stark have been tied together in the Marvel Cinematic Universe before Spider-Man even entered the MCU. With it accepted as canon now, a young Peter Parker in an Iron Man costume faced down a Hammer drone in Iron Man 2 on his path to becoming a hero in his own right.

When Stark drafts Parker in his fight to keep Captain America from defying the Sokovia Accords, Parker shows the ambition to join the Avengers and impresses his science and superhero mentor Tony Stark. Stark claimed responsibility for the young hero, telling him to stay in in his own neighborhood and take things easy, but that wasn’t enough to keep Peter off the Q-ship and from fading away in Tony’s arms. While we know that the snappening gets undone and Peter will return to fight Mysterio, we’re also sure that Tony and Peter might have one last meeting coming up in Avengers: Endgame. The question is: what form will that take?
