The battle royale genre started years ago with games like DayZ and H1Z1. These games were fun, but far from polished with no real end goal. Then, we had PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, commonly known as PUBG, which set the standard for the genre until it got knocked off its pedestal by the free to play Fortnite. While Fortnite has been king of the battle royale castle for quite some time now, there are plenty of new challengers approaching.
