Which actor can appear alongside Venom (and possible Spiderman?!) 10 Actors Who SHOULD Play Carnage In The Venom Movie! Subscribe to our channel: goo.gl/wMuSDD
With a Venom movie in the works, one can’t help but think about the future possibilities of not only Venom, but Carnage as well. Eddie Brock’s cellmate is long-term maniac Cletus Kasady, a serial killer with a penchant for madness. He is the one that is taken over by the red symbiote and turned into one of the coolest Spider-Man villains ever. We know that the Venom movie won’t be tying into the MCU and the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming, so this actually opens up the door for a lot more freedom and creative directions for the movies to go. They could even go with a rated R movie for Carnage, which would make sense given that he is a serial killer and we are bound to see a lot of bloodshed and carnage. That’s some pretty dark stuff for just a PG-13 rating. Movies like Thor, Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain America, and Ironman are a lot more kid friendly and can get away with a lower rating, but with Carnage’s haunting backstory, the film would need to be rated R. Plus, movies like Deadpool and Logan have already proven that R-rated superhero films can be successful. Imagine the perfect finale (and sequel set-up) for Venom: the bars of a cell opening up to reveal Kasady’s signature bloody grin waiting for us. However, that grin needs to belong to the perfect actor, otherwise we could be in for a very short franchise. Luckily we know of a few guys who could really do the character justice.
