Ever since Peter Parker came home from Secret Wars with the souvenir of a new set of threads that seemed to read his mind the Marvel Universe changed forever. It turns out it was reading his mind because it was a symbiote from Klyntar that had been abused and corrupted. While the symbiote will never forget his first love Peter Parker, the Venom symbiote has gotten around. Just about everyone in the Marvel Universe has hosted or come in contact with the unruly alien. This has included some of Peter Parker’s friends and enemies, because naturally Peter Parker gets to have enemies in and out of costume. That includes the high school bully turned friend Flash Thompson, who had gone on to be a war hero who suffered injuries that cost him his legs. No legs is no problem for the symbiote and thanks to a control formula Flash Thompson was able to become Agent Venom. Then not so agent. Then Avenger. And then...with the Guardians of the Galaxy? How did he get there and why? Didn’t they know that the symbiote couldn’t resist the buffet of Rocket, Groot, Gamora, and Drax? What was Venom doing in space? Let’s take a trip through space and time as Flash Thompson faces space pirates and the world gets to find out at least part of the origins for the symbiotes and how Venom got his bad attitude. Just what led to Flash Thompson and the Venom symbiote joining with the Guardians of the Galaxy.
