The Loki TV show is next up on Disney+’s impressive slate of television shows. It’s safe to say that both WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier were huge successes for the platform, and the streamer looks to keep that momentum going by switching gears a bit and highlighting the MCU’s favorite antihero Loki.
But this is such a tricky situation. The Loki in the trailers is not the same trickster who got the life choked out of him by the Mad Titan Thanos, it’s instead 2012 Loki, fresh off the Battle of New York and still relatively evil. So that means this Loki didn’t see the death of his Mom, or how he teamed up with Thor to beat his sister in Thor: Ragnarok. What’s he going to be like and what’s he going to be doing?
Well, it looks like this Loki variant is under the surveillance of the TVA, aka The Time Variance Authority who need him for a special task. Well I’m here today to theorize what that special task actually is. I think the only reason you bring in a Variant Loki to the workplace to help you out is if the enemy you’re seeking is also a Variant Loki. That would actually explain a lot about what this show is trying to do. By confronting different versions of himself, aka President Loki, King Loki, Lady Loki, etc, Loki has the chance to change his ways and become a better person. Then he’d be similar to the OG Loki before that character died. Makes sense doesn’t it?
So check out today’s video all about Loki and his future in the MCU, you do not want to miss out! After you’re done with this incredible theory, go ahead and give us a big thumbs up and like the content! Come on, what harm could it do? And by the way, be sure to leave a comment telling us which new Loki you’d want to see come on on top! Thanks for watching CBR! Let’s get started,
