Wait, was that Mephisto in that church scene? By the end of the episode, it seems like that little French girl was actually referring to a time-traveling Green Magician who was wreaking havoc throughout the timeline. Or at least that’s what the trolling MCU seems to want us to believe... As expected of him, the God of Lies seems to have made trouble for everyone around him, but on a much larger scale this time. There’s a hole in the fabric and it seems he’s the only one capable of fixing it by, well, stopping himself or other versions of himself. But that’s not the only character who is interested in traveling across universes. If you remember correctly, Wanda Maximoff, A.K.A. the Scarlet Witch seemed to be using the Darkhold to open the gates to some kind of alternate universe where her children Tommy and Billy are trapped. And with the arrival of Kang the Conqueror in the upcoming film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, planned to be released in 2023, the god of lies seems to be the Time Travel Authority (TVA), and the Time-Keepers’ least of worries. Or at least it should.
