"If I Were" or "If I Were a River" is a beautiful song written, composed and performed by Laura Branigan for the TV special "Disney's Living Seas" which showed the new under­sea exhibits at Walt Disney World's EP­COT Center. It was aired on January 24, 1986.
Laura was able to reach to our souls, touching our hearts with beautiful songs like this, with her emotion and of course her magnificent and unforgettable voice. She will live forever on our hearts and much more with the great fans she had and has today, big thanks to them. Enjoy!
