The Jayhawks are the featured artists of the day for April 14 for Minnesota Music Month. Long-running Minneapolis mainstays, The Jayhawks helped define the sound of alt-country music and have inspired countless listeners with their tight harmonies and heart-rending songs.

In 2020, The Jayhawks released the album "XOXO," and in the time of COVID-19, they recorded these outdoor performances of songs from the album exclusively for The Current.
