Geechi Gotti stopped by the Genius VERIFIED studio to discuss his insightful song “Letter to the Blocc.” The motivational track is an homage to the Compton native's childhood, his children, and it also works as a message to the younger generation coming up.

"When you're a kid, you see rappers, people on TV and in movies, and the facade is that it's all fun and games," he tells Genius of the song. "It looks good...There's women, fly cars, big chains but there's a lot of expensive pain behind all that. These dudes is buying all this to mask the hurt. For me, 'Letter to Blocc' says it all. This is a letter to every block out there."

Geechi's message has also been shared across Battle Rap stages. The 3x Champion of the Year has faced off against some of the game's most touted opponents, including Loaded Lux, Murda Mook, and Tsu Surf. Drake presented him and fellow EFB member Rum Nitty with $150,000 at a Smack/URL tournament finale.
