The song title “Alavilla mailla” can betranslated as “In the low-lying lands”. It’s the basic landscape from Antti’s home region with flat fields. Song tells about the danger of frost which is quite common in summertime in Finland. When the fields and flowers have started to grow and the harvest time is near, there’s always a danger of cold frost and if it comes, it freezes and takes life from what is growing.
