Watch Beyoncé win the Grammy for Album of the Year for the first time at the 2025 Grammys. The megastar had previously received five nominations in the Category, but 'Cowboy Carter' finally netted her the prestigious award.


"I just feel very full and very honored," Beyoncé smiled, the gratitude radiating from the Grammy stage. "It's been many, many years, and I just want to thank the Grammys, every songwriter, every collaborator, every producer, all of the hard work … And I hope we just keep pushing forward, opening doors."


Beyoncé won two other Grammys that night, bringing her Grammy win total to 35 to date, extending her record as the artist with the most Grammy wins of all time. She won the Grammy for Best Country Album for 'Cowboy Carter,' making her the first Black woman to win the Category. Album highlight "II MOST WANTED," with Miley Cyrus, won the Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.
