Jamaican singer/songwriter D'yani performs his new song "Journey" for the Global Spin series, filmed at the legendary Tuff Gong Studio in Kingston, Jamaica, and backed by a full band and choir.
On "Journey," the lead single from his debut album 'Live Life and Prosper,' D'Yani reflects on personal growth, perseverance, and the experiences that shaped the artist he ultimately became. His moving delivery, soulful storytelling and expressive performance add to the song's message of staying focused through life's setbacks while embracing all the challenges along the way.
Best known for his uplifting messages and emotionally resonating music, rising star D'Yani has established himself as one of Jamaica's most exciting new voices and a leader in the next generation of artists expanding reggae and dancehall. He first gained widespread acclaim in 2021 with his breakout hit "Feelings (Remix)" featuring Jada Kingdom followed by the internationally celebrated "Live a Little," which became one of the biggest streaming success stories in reggae in recent years. He's since performed at the biggest stages and festivals in the Caribbean, including Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival, Reggae Sumfest, St. Kitts Music Festival, Barbados Reggae Weekend, and City Splash Festival. D'Yani will release his debut album 'Live Life and Prosper,' named after his artistic philosophy, in summer 2026.
