ASTR - "Activate Me" (Official Video)

New York-based boy girl duo ASTR first cropped up on our radar thanks to the glacially cool synth-pop cut "Operate," but a lot has changed in the intervening two years. Above is the video for their latest single "Activate Me," which mines a late 90s soul-stoked garage groove.

The band had this to say about the track: "'Activate Me' is definitely a different sound for us, something heavily inspired by  New York's legacy when it was the center of house music in the 90s. It's moody and dark like some of our older songs but with a more upbeat and dance twist."

"Activate Me" is lifted from their forthcoming EP, Homecoming.
