At one point the Audi A4 Avant claimed to have had the biggest boot capacity in its class with 505 litres, which is certainly bigger than the Mercedes C-Class estate. However times have changed and now the mighty Skoda Superb Estate offers over 150 litres more than the A4 Avant with 660 litres of space. To top it off the uber popular Volkswagen Passat Estate is just 10 litres behind with a large 650 litres of capacity. However, as you may know these numbers don't necessarily translate when it comes to fitting awkwardly sized objects in the boot, so how much stuff could I fit in the Audi A4 Avant? How much passenger space is there, and how easy is it to fit a child seat?
