The Astra Sports Tourer is perfect for people wanting elegant hatchback looks and big car practicality. There's clever FlexFold seating which allows drivers to fold the rear seats at the touch of a button, increasing the load capacity to 1,550 litres -- that's even more in than the larger Insignia estate. Yet the Astra lives up to its 'Sports' badging on the road. It feels very stable, while keen drivers will also find that there's plenty of grip and responsive steering. On long journeys it's comfortable, although that large boot area does amplify road noise at motorway cruising speeds.
