Cadillac is casting a broader net these days, trying to get more youthful customers into its showrooms. Capitalizing on the compact crossover craze, the all-new 2019 Cadillac XT4 SUV is sized, equipped and most importantly, priced to attract a whole new generation of customers. I just hope it’s ready for prime time, that it’s more CT6 than Cimmaron, ATS than Allanté. This segment is rife with excellent choices like the Audi Q3, BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA and Volvo XC40, models that will eat the XT4 alive if it doesn't deliver the goods.
