The Renault Arkana is the French brand’s latest SUV, slotting in between the Captur and Kadjar models with a stylish coupe-style design. It’s not simply a sleeker version of the Captur either, with the more spacious interior putting it close to the larger Kadjar for practicality. Power comes from a choice of petrol and hybrid engines, with fuel economy of over 48mpg meaning it’s affordable to run. But with an array of hybrid SUVs on the market, is the Arkana good enough to stand out alongside rivals like the Mazda CX-30 and Citroen C4? Nicola puts it to the test to find out.
