Is the Mercedes V12 dead?
That depends on where you live. For the 2026 Maybach S-Class, the V12 in the S 680 will be replaced by a more powerful version of the V8 in most places, with only a select few markets retaining the 12-cylinder engine, based on demand and emissions regulations. Will India be one of them? It's unlikely, but we can keep our fingers crossed for a RHD CBU import further down the line.
