10 Thunderbolt Villains Marvel Will Introduce

It might be a long long time before we see the Avengers assemble again. Avengers Endgame set the bar pretty high and also saw the likes of Captain America, Iron Man and Black Widow bow out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe for good. So obviously we need a new superhero team to take their place. Well...if we can’t have a superhero team, would a supervillain team work instead? Just like The Suicide Squad, Marvel has their own team of semi-reformed bad guys who fight against threats to the world...when they aren’t the threats themselves.

The main selling point for the Thunderbolts right now is that they are often led by Baron Zemo himself. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier successfully reintroduced Zemo, and his epic dancing skills, to the MCU to universal acclaim. Marvel really needs to capitalize on that popularity by giving him a super-team to lead. This could consist of other morally questionable MCU characters like John Walker, The Ghost, The Punisher, Emil Blonsky and Thaddeus Ross finally as the Red Hulk. Who knows, maybe we’ll even see some new characters join in on the fun. We could see characters like Deadpool, Norman Osborn and Taskmaster backing up the team. Whether it’s a movie or a tv show, Marvel needs to give us a new team to assemble.
