In the latest edition of For The Record, dive into ‘Northern Exposure,’ the pivotal mix album from legendary U.K. DJ duo Sasha and John Digweed. Released on Sept. 27, 1996, the emotive two-disc album shook up DJ mixes and became a belated classic in the electronic world. ‘Northern Exposure,’ the duo’s second collab mix album, saw Sasha and Digweed step out of their comfort zone to deliver a concept album that straddled home listening and dance-floor reverie and pushed the boundaries of the mix-CD format they'd helped create. ‘Northern Exposure’ celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2021.
