In collaboration with Smirnoff as part of their ‘We’re Open’ campaign, UK producer Donae’o recently teamed up with deaf dancer Chris Fonseca and dance crew Plague for the video for his track ‘Mami No Like’, which drops next week.

As a precursor to that, it’s worth watching this short film about Chris’ processes as a deaf dancer, as well as some of the issues he’s had to overcome to get to where he is today.

Chris’s aim is to teach members of the deaf community that there are ways to enjoy music beyond just hearing it. As well as featuring in this video, he has teamed up with Smirnoff to host a deaf dance workshop every last Friday of the month at Huskies dance studios.
