2015 Volvo V60 Cross Country - Off Road And Track Review

The 2015 Volvo V60 T5 AWD Cross Country. This is a premium CUV from Volvo, featuring a 2.5L Turbo Inline 5 cylinder producing 250 HP, which I’ll be comparing to the Buick Encore, Land Rover Discovery Sport, Lexus NX, and Mercedes GLA250. Starting with the drawbacks, the Volvo has the second highest price of the group, the least amount of cargo space and limited rear legroom, and was towards the bottom of the pack for combined fuel economy rating at 23 mpg. That said, the Volvo’s weight is well under the Land Rover or the Lexus, it has the most power and torque of the group, and the best power to weight ratio. It also has a very reasonable towing capacity at 3500 lbs.

This vehicle was tested as part of the 2015 Northwest Automotive Press Association’s Outdoor Activity Vehicle of the Year competition. The vehicle category and competing vehicles are below:
